Nick Lagges, class of ‘22 is a Junior infielder at Washington and Lee University. Despite missing some time due to injury, Lagges hit .308, w/4 HR, 16 RBI, in 78 AB his sophomore season. He was also named All- Academic ODAC. He will be a key piece for the Generals lineup as a returning starter.

Class of ‘23, Leo Zerillo is a freshman at Milwaukee Tech. After redshirting last year, the lefty OF will look to compete for a starting spot this spring for the Stormers.

Class of ‘21, Ben Plumley is a junior RHP pitcher at Illinois. He was Academic All-Big Ten in 2024 and struck out the first better he ever faced in his college career. Last season, he appeared in 23 games, while throwing 35 innings. After a strong showing in the MLB draft league this past summer, Ben will be the starting in the weekend rotation for the Illini.

After a standout career at Illinois Wesleyan the past four years, the Senior OF will finish his college career at Cincinnati. While at Illinois Wesleyan he received second team All-CCIW honors in 2024 and in 2023 was first team All-CCIW and ABCA Second Team All-Region 8. At Lane Tech high school, he was a two-year varsity starter in both baseball and basketball and a four-year letterwinner.

Joseph Perona, class of ‘22 is a Junior outfielder at North Park University. As a sophomore, Perona had a breakout year, slashing .351/.454/.474 with eight doubles, a home run, and team-leading five triples, while stealing 43 bases (2nd most in school history). 2nd team All-CCIW, ABCA/Rawlings 3rd Team All-Region. He will be at the top of the order for the Vikings this spring.

Jacob Maza class of ‘23 is a sophomore at Webster University. The RHP was a top pitcher on ‘22 City Championship and ‘23 Regional Championship teams. As a freshman last year, he saw limited action appearing in 3 games. He looks to be a bigger piece of the Warlock’s staff heading into this spring.
