Josh Katz class of ‘23 is a sophomore at the University of Pennsylvania. The RHP has earned a spot in the Quakers' starting rotation and has faced some of the top lineups in the country including perennial powerhouses Texas A&M and Florida State.

Nick Lagges, class of ‘22 is a senior infielder at Washington and Lee University. A staple in the middle of the W&L lineup, he is a constant producer and recognized for both academics and athletics. He was named All- Academic ODAC the last two seasons. He will be a key piece for the Generals lineup as a returning starter.

Class of ‘25, Teo Greco is a freshman at Milwaukee School of Engineering. The start infielder has already made his presence known with the Raiders picking up 4 hits and his first triple through three games.

TYLER TRAPP, Triton College

Class of ‘25, Tyler Trapp was the 2025 CPL player of the year. He left Lane Tech with several lasting memories including the ringing double to tie the city championships at Wrigley Field and a walk-off steal of home in the Chicago Baseball Classic. He will look to contribute for the Trojans this spring.

After graduating last spring, Bennett Levinson has continued academically and athletically on the East Coast at Boston's Tufts University.

BEN PLUMLEY, Illinois

Class of ‘21, Ben Plumley is a junior RHP pitcher at Illinois. He was Academic All-Big Ten in 2024 and struck out the first better he ever faced in his college career. He picked up a win in his first start of the 2026 season for the Illini. In four seasons he has a 6-7 record and is on pace to clear 100 IP for his career.

JOSEPH PERONA, North Park

Joseph Perona, class of ‘22 is a Junior outfielder at North Park University. As a sophomore, Perona had a breakout year, slashing .351/.454/.474 with eight doubles, a home run, and team-leading five triples, while stealing 43 bases (2nd most in school history). 2nd team All-CCIW, ABCA/Rawlings 3rd Team All-Region. He continued to produce his junior year earning first team All-CCI honors with a .338/.413/.452 slash line with three homers and 24 stolen bases.

Joining fellow 2024 Lane Tech alumnus Ethan Borggren on the Cobras, Khan will continue his career at Parkland College. He is a recent transfer and has not taken the mound in 2026 after several appearances with St. Louis University as a freshman.

Ethan Borggren was the CPL player of the year as a senior helping lead Lane Tech to the 2024 city championship at Wrigley Field. After leaving lane as the single season home run leader, he began his college career at Northwestern University. He has now transferred to Parkland University with fellow 2024 teammate Amaan Khan and it continuing his career with the Cobras.

Jacob Maza class of ‘23 is a junior at Aurora University. The RHP was a top pitcher on ‘22 City Championship and ‘23 Regional Championship teams. He has not made an appearance yet for the Spartans.

Henry Murray, one of Lane Tech's all-time run-producers, continues his career in the Ivy League at Dartmouth. He picked up his first college hits and RBI going 2-for-5 in a weekend slate against FDU and Gardner-Webb.
